The One Hour Killing Round

When: Sunday 6th April 2003, noon.
Where: University of Canterbury Ilam Campus.
Why: Because KAOS Otago will be in town, and because this round is going to be kind of nifty. Read on...

This round will involve fire-teams of three agents each, each team with it's own colour, denoted by a strip of coloured cloth issued to each agent. Agents should congregate on the main library steps from 11:30 am onwards to form teams and receive their colours, at 11:55 am they will be sent to starting points around campus. Agents may not leave campus or enter the buildings during the round, this will occur strictly outdoors! Colours (including the colours of previous victims) will be collected from the dead to keep score. At the end of the hour, a ceasefire will take effect, and all surviving agents will return to the library steps, where captured colours will be tallied to determine the winning team.

(See Short Rounds for a general description of rounds of this type.)

All regular weapons for which a permit is not required are legal for this round e.g. water guns, nerf guns, inflatable weapons, fun-noodles and paper swords. No bombs! Style points may be awarded at our discression, based on the testimony of the dead. Non-lethal equipment (e.g. cellphones, headset radios) is up to you, so long as it's not going to piss off campus security.

Sign up sheets should be available on the notice board (friday) and at the party (saturday), also you should be able to sign up at the library steps between 11:30 am and 11:50 am on sunday.
