Operation Warlord: A Post-Exams Civil War

This operation is concluded and the photos are now online. Diana was victorious on the day, seizing the Dictatorship of KAOS for herself!

Attention! We have been rained out, so we're moving to our postponement date. The battle will still be at Jellie Park (off Greers Road) providing it stops raining, but will be starting at 3pm. If you wish, you can muster the the White Palace from 2pm.

Exams at the University of Canterbury finish this year on Saturday the 16^th November this year. In the afternoon of that day, rival candidates for the high office of Dictator of KAOS, and their ~~hired goons~~ loyal retainers, will take the field to compete for the Dictator's ~~amusement~~ favour.

There can be only one Dictator of KAOS but this is the chance for all candidates to show that you're a contender. Find a KEA unit, or unit of foreign mercenaries to follow you (bribing the commanding officer would be a good start), and be a warlord for a day!

Further details as they come to hand. Warlords should advise me of which units they have recruited to follow them. I'm happy to put warlords in touch with units and visa versa. If you want to organise a unit, get into a unit or anything else get in touch with me.

Rules of War:

No flour please. Combatants are asked to leave the use of projectile or water weapons to the second half. The Dictator of KAOS (Canterbury, pictured top right) is a non-combatant.

* When asked for comment, an officer of Alf's Imperial Army who wished to remain unnamed, stated that they were only interested in protecting the interests of Her Majesty's Government, and maintaining the Pax Brittanica, and not in attempting to install a puppet dictator. No really. Honest. Would we lie to you?

A reminder, KEA units don't have to be static. You can form new units or change the theme of your units between events, and different people can command. Indeed, it's expected (although not required, you can always stick to a winning formula).
