Operation Launchpad: Roadtrip, Battle, Party, Tournament

We'll be having the battle at the University of Otago in front of the Registry with a projected start time of 3pm, and the party starts 8ish. Don't bother to mail the Lieutenant Colonel after Thursday, as he'll already be on the road, email the Dictator of Otago instead. Basic black is suggested for the field, but don't let that stop you...

Battle: KAOS Otago and various hangers-on vs non-local interlopers. KAOS (north and south), Caladonians, Cthulhu Cultists, OURs Agents, New Carthaginians and ALFs(north and middle) are all expected to take the field. Troops mass and weapons inspection at 2.30, battle to commence at 3pm. Sunday if wet.

Party: General KAOSing will ensue, we assume. Contact the Dictator of Otago. or the Lieutenant Colonel for the venue.

Some notes:

1. Transport southwards (carpooling) is being organised by Sergeant Garnett
2. Watch your speed, especially around Oamaru, it's probably safe to assume the cops will be out.
3. Party soilage fees apply, same as Christchurch.
4. Crash space is available, contact the Dictator of Otago. BYO bedding; small amounts of bedding may be available by prior arrangement. Other crash space may also be found at various backpackers in Dunedin
5. There will probably be a drinkies on the previous evening (Friday 7th) after the First Meeting. This is not the First Party and will likely be a quiet affair. The location is on Princes Street, email for exact location.
6. The First Party (Saturday 8th) starts at 8pm; there will be a short "opening ceremony" at 9pm. The location is on Glencairn Street, email for exact details.
7. Northeners are advised to contact the Lieutenant Colonel and get his cellphone number, to assist in linking up in Dunedin

The first tournament of the year will be on the 7th to 9th of March (the weekend after the first week of University lectures). The Otago University Commerce building will be booked for the tournament.

Players should assemble on the second floor of the Commerce building at 6pm Friday and 10am Saturday and Sunday. Please do not be late as the doors get locked.

The LARP (on Saturday afternoon/evening) is going to be a 'Mobster' LARP. Players will belong to some type of Gangster organisation eg. Yakuza, Mafia, Triad, British Thugs etc.
