Please send important notices to the webmonkey. In particular; any inter-branch function, anything of interest nationwide, and events at Canterbury (which doesn't have it's own branch pages). For other types of notice, just ask. Posted by: webmonkey on 9:40 Monday, 18 Feb 2008 We've been using the new website for some time now, although it remains incomplete. However, this site is still here, and so deserves a notice telling you you might not be in the right place. So, unless you're looking to find something on this, the old site, that isn't on the new site yet, you probably want to go to kaos.org.nz Posted by: webmonkey on 12:38 Monday, 20 Nov 2006 Coming soonish: The New KAOS Website*! You may have noticed updates to this site have slowed down in the last year or so, as I've been devoting my attention to the new site in the odd weekend that I work on this thing. In addition, the overwealming reliance of KAOS agents on LiveJournal for KAOS news means that the page you're reading has become somewhat redundant; I haven't yet decided whether the new site will have a page like this at all. Instead the new site is likely to focus on static resources (such as the Assassins' Guide), and provide links to sites such as Phil's Photo Pages; there may also be RSS/Atom feeds provided from here in the future as well as the current mailing lists. I also intend to provide photo gallery software for club use; Phil has done a great job over the years on a purely voluntary basis, but he can't be everywhere. The software supporting the new KAOS site is approaching version 1.0 by fits and starts, expect to see an explosion of content there within a couple of months, hopefully in time for the 2007 recruitment season. In the meantime there will be broken URLs and other such construction clutter. * No, that's not going to be the permanent URL. You don't even need to have a LiveJournal account to read it, so shuffle over there and soak up that special ambiance.
